- To begin making the Mushroom Shagoti Recipe, in a pan dry roast the whole spices on low-medium heat which includes cloves, peppercorns, carom seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, cinnamon, star anise, red chilies, and poppy seeds till fragrant.Add coconut and roast for a few extra minutes or until the coconut is calmly browned. Permit to chill.
Grind the roasted substances with garlic and a little bit water to an effective paste in a mixer grinder jar. Hold it apart.
In one other pan, warm oil, add onions and sauté for five minutes. When the onions are nicely browned, add chopped mushrooms, salt and stir.
Add the bottom masala paste and blend nicely. Add one cup of water, tamarind pulp, and simmer till the mushrooms are cooked and the Mushroom Shagoti involves your required gravy consistency.
Flip off the warmth and your Mushroom Shagoti is able to be served.
